The Los Angeles Dodgers added three players to their 40-man roster to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft.
Pitching prospects Nick Frasso and Landon Knack, along with catcher Hunter Feduccia, were added to the roster.
Frasso is the Dodgers' top pitching prospect, Knack is the No. 9 prospect, and Feduccia projects as a backup catcher. [ more ]

The San Francisco Giants, like all teams, will have to add certain prospects to the 40-man roster to protect them from December's Rule 5 Draft.
The Giants have a quite full roster with 36 spots already filled, so they are not expected to protect a bunch of players or add anyone in the actual draft.
